Aloha!
The Rising Phoenix Jaycees is proud to present the Three Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Award.

For over 30 years, the Hawaii Jaycees have honored individuals in our community that have gone to extraordinary means to better themselves and their community.  The award recognizes exceptional achievements or contributions in a nominee’s chosen field, organizations, community, state, or nation. The Jaycees are looking for nominees whose outstanding humanitarian efforts exemplify the line of the Jaycee Creed that states, “Service to humanity is the best work of life.” Nominees must be between the ages of 18-40 years old and must not have turned 40 before January 1, 2008. The three individuals who are honored with the Three Outstanding Young Persons Award are then submitted to the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce as a possible selection to the Ten Outstanding Young Americans, TOYA. Some past TOYA honorees have included, John F. Kennedy, Elvis Presley, Christopher Reeve, Dave Tiberi, Michelle Tafoya and Robin Hartle.

All applications must be postmarked by August 15, 2008.

Thank you for your interest in the TOYP program and we look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Eve Epitome
22nd President of the Rising Phoenix Jaycees
